(If this isn't allowed I apologize)

After looking at the discussions in the monthly payment amount thread, I got curious and want to see how much everyone's making annually before taxes. A lot of people seem to be able to afford pretty large monthly payments better than I can, so I'm naturally curious to see where the median lands in this regard.

I don't expect anyone to post their results unless they want to.

Thanks for your time!

I think I had the highest payment on that thread... just my mortgage and no kiddos running around so not hard to manage.

the cost of living, whether you have kids/family or not have a big affect on whether or not people will do a bigger payment or not ..

Well seems like kids are very expensive but I have no experience there. My payment is way too high but I also think this car is more reliable then the Si and will hold value better. But again no experience there because these cars are still too new.

820.37 to be exact.
9 percent interest and was 41k for the car. 3k roll over from my 18si and gap just in case. 45,5 loan. Still paying extra and work bonuses going to on it every year.
Technically without my $14K downpayment my loan would've been $47K thanks to a gob of negative equity from my '17 coupe touring.

I don't have my own family yet either but i'm sure it's not really just about the money aspect of it but the priorities change once you have a family. I know my priorities would change and i wouldn't spend so much money on the car.

that's a pretty harsh loan and a pretty harsh apr. but hey if your happy with it, that's all that matters. who cares what others think.

Missing a range.
I literally read the choices three times and didn't catch that, oh well, I added it but it's at the end of the choices

He's right. I couldn't find "$0k - living inside the Type R" in my case.
Who needs a house when you have a Type R?!

...that's the kind of thinking that got me into my situation in the first place
