Hey Guys!

I was wondering if any of you guys have put the Type R front and rear CF looking bits on your sport hatchback.

I just got the prices from my dealer and they aren't that expensive and I was wondering if it was a direct fit for the front and rear or will I run into issues?

Since the R has different front and rear bumper covers, I do not think they would easily bolt on to the sport hatchback.

For either front or back, you will have to remove the sport lip. There is a thread that shows someone installing a type r lip on a SI. I believe the SI front bumper is the same as the non sport hatchbacks

But...the type R bumper is different than that of the sport/sport touring isn't it ?

So following that logic, a type R front lip wont work on the sport / sport touring ?
The R bumper cover is definitely different than the Sport cover. The guys that have mounted them on the Si bumper cover have had to cut some tabs off the lip and such for a "pretty good" fit. I'm not sure if anyone has tried it on the Sport hatch bumper.

Isn't the Si bumper cover the same as the Sport hatch? Except that the sport hatch has that stock lip on it?>

I believe I read somewhere that the Sport bumper is different to accommodate the spoiler, that could be wrong, I did not go in and check the part numbers.
