Saw this gem of a Honda Civic si type R while on my way from North Carolina to Nashville, saw him flying up on me, my brother asked me what the si type r is...I told him something you get picture proof of...dude saw him going to take the picture and slammed the brake had no interest in keeping up after that

Clones vs clowns?

Behold R-00001 Ridgeline Type R based on a ‘17 Black Edition. I’m inventing here, not entirely copying, or so I think so nobody said Civics only. I have a ‘19 CTR so wannabein’anything else is OBE. I’m a clown in R clothing, see below.

Local FL dealer tells me half dozen inquiries on wanting to buy a Type R RL, mission accomplished!

Lots of fake clown crap crap with lower trim in genuine imitation CF with matching red stripe not made from 3M adhesive tape peels yet to be installed. Mirrors are chrome wrapped in CF with touch of red to make my 13 pieces of flare. Besides the red center neoprene seats all around, there’s 83 pieces of real Carbon Fiber inside (Remin kit), CF window transitions outside, Remin even redid the Infotainment border custom.

I-candy plus performance, turbo $10k so no.

Note center triple-ish exhaust (eBay) with muff & Rez deletes, added Flowmaster FX for droneless growl. The 289 hp stock is up a few with K&N CAB and Stage 3 OB2 piggy-chip that dyno’d +44 HP, 30 more torque, another 2 mpg usually. Even has R spoiler but mounting design proving harder to have built as I’m not up to metal and fiberglass aero design, marine shops want fortune so fixed not removable, hood scoop has dual Nightrider red lights, matches Night Raider slider brake light bar under tailgate., Even has crap Vortex Generators precisely placed like R, mini-spoiler at back edge of roof plus wheel well red lights too (all off street only). Biggest challenge is large front red R since houses cruise sensor. Adjustable bass JL under seat subwoofer w/built in amp boosts stereo bone vibe experience. 50” plasma & DVD with bed sound bring tailgating to new level and it literally gots junk in the trunk.

My pal in ATL did one like mine but puts it to shame as he’s gifted and has done custom show work, double matted interior in his and twin gel batts, wow!

Crap additions are much easier this month with a new ‘19 red CTR next to it.
It needs exhaust upgrade TBD, sub added but already has been tuned to 350hp, what a great daily racer the CTR is!

i saw a pretty good type R clone, hell it said Si on it so i guess civic type si! but had type R look with wing and it was a hatchback. i mean it didnt look that bad i guess. to each their own. i was trying to get a closer look cause i never seen a type r on road and i took a pic and noticed something was different.

Looks good in matching blue but I think those two outer tubes are what my bank uses at the drive thru.

I dont..lol I think its dumb.everybody puts red emblems on to be different but then everybody put the red emblems on..but what really makes me shake my head is when people plastidip or paint them red
