I’ve had a issue similar to this, accords also seem to have a similar issue since the hvac system is the same. Someone on the accord forum found a China tsb to fix the issue which seemed to pinpoint the issue. I wedged some rubber in the vent divider as shown and haven’t had a rattle since. Although I went in through the passenger side vs driver as shown in the tsb since it’s easier.

They replaced my entire heater core and that fixed the issue for a few days. Then got similar buzzing and I found the attached tube was culprit. They put the special tape in the seam and on all attachment points. No return so far After 600miles. So if yours is still making noise, I suspect it’s the Heater core inside buzzing against the housing. Have them pull Heater core out and try secure it. If doesn’t work, have them replace it as I did.

Thanks Sooooooo much for posting your solution! I'm trying the same approach and have already lowered the vibration significantly. Thank goodness you can read Chinese ;-)

See Spacesloth's post above. The vibration is coming from the thin partition between the driver and passenger warm air supplies.

You have to remove the piece by the door jamb, kick panel, panel underneath the hvac, side panel between the dash and door and lastly the glove box and it’s housing. From there you will see the foot vent which you need to pop off to get access inside.
