Those look good but damn they're expensive at $800/each, that's the same amount of money if not more than for volks

I also like Rays Volk Racing forged wheels but have those for other cars ? Felt the CTR needs the lightest wheels available since it needs a wider wheel (9.5) & corresponding wider (heavier) tires. I believe these are the lightest wheels (18x9.5) available which is FK8 specific. The CTR is not the one you’d consider as a light car ? Noticed a huge improvement from stock in terms of handling and steering feel when I switched to this setup freeing significant unsprung weight ?

Wow those are very light! 16.314 lbs! About 2 lbs lighter than my RegaMasters.

TWS Forged makes private label wheels for tuning companies. TWS also made the FK8 specific forged wheels (18x9.5) of the Desmond RegaMasters and Spoon SW388. Other companies they make wheels for are TRD, TOMS, Prodrive etc.. to name a few. They are probably one of the best in the field in forged wheels technology (other than Rays & BBS)???

Really light and cool wheels, kappa_md!

Looks like a great option and, poking around the internet, they make another one called the RS317 in a 19x9.5 ET48 5x120 which only weighs about 20lbs. Neat stuff, thank you for sharing.

TWS Motorsport RS317 Wheel - 19x9.5" - Furious Customs
Welcome! Anytime! Rule of thumb for lightweight wheels is “a pound for an inch” :)? So for a wide 19 inch wheel, 20 lbs is pretty sweet! I’m planning to get RS317 also in my other car hopefully??

Don’t get me wrong, I also like the known wheels from other brands (TEs, CEs, etc) but they’re really common, and these TWS Forged wheels makes your car a little bit unique, with full form+function and motorsport pedigree ? plus a great conversation piece ☺

Exactly - if everyone used the same wheels and aftermarket parts, what fun would that be?

Nice wheels! Mind sharing how much you got it for in the PH?

Thanks
Got it from Excellar Enterprise. TWS Official Distributor. The Gloss Black color was just a custom order limited period option for TWS back in 2020. Took around 8 months from order to delivery. Wheels cost around 160k++ while the PS4S tires around 90k++ (US made) I wanted to stay with the OEM look but with 18s and thus this wheel/color combo. HTH ;)

Welcome! The PS4 is more affordable since it is made in Thailand. PS4S comes from the US thus prices a bit more. Hard also to source locally. Street-wise both the PS4 & PS4S behave very similar. It is only in track when you push the car with the PS4S tires that it becomes to stand out from the PS4. Both are still great IMHO☺
