Can the inlet pipe be removed to thermal wrap it?

It just lifts off the turbo after unbolting?

The BOV, or diverter if you're stock, will come off with that peice.

Thanks, I did notice an aluminum heat shield bolted to the bottom but I think wrapping it would be better....we'll see.

Definitly would. I plan on wrapping the whole air track once I'm ready to install a intercooler kit

Thanks for the pics. I don't even own the car yet but that piece has been bothering me since day one. You are the first I know who seem to have tried to remove it or what not.

broke a a bolt on the turbo trying to remove the stock cat haha. had to pull the turbo out to drill the bolt
