Hey fellas- huge fan of automotive forums but new to this section- I have a 2018 civic 1.5t in my shop and was involved in an accident- the turbo actuator solenoid was damaged- I replaced the new actuator but am getting a p2564 after adjusting it a few times I had gotten it to stay off at idle but under boost the Check engine light gets triggered on. Does anyone have info on the way this actuator should be installed?? Thanks in advanced rep points for all replies.

you would need to take it in to the dealership to get it calibrated

Was hoping to keep it out of a dealership as It is a customers car in the body shop- Any leads on how to adjust? I adjusted it a few times to where the light stays off and until WOT boost it will get triggered on opposed to the code staying hard and the actuator closed or open at times. Any leads on where the actuator should be?

You're going to need the Honda HDS tool to perform the calibration procedure.

Without that, you're literally stuck in trial and error land, and it's a very fine adjustment range.

Don't be surprised if the service advisor and techs give you a dumb, blank stare when you ask for the service, too. Most of them are glorified lube technicians.
