Ladies and gents of more experience I come to you all humbly with some questions. I don't know much aside from super basic stuff so I figure for the stuff I don't know I could you all my honda fam.

Here's what we have, a gentleman that works with my dad has a bunch of parts he wants to sell me to which I agreed. Said parts include takeda intake, a custom down pipe if I'm not mistaken he told me 3in., a Hondata flashpro and a few other things not performance related like intererior access. So my question to you is if I get the flashpro first, and do a tune, when I later install the intake will I need to retune? I think I've seen someone mention that you need to retune after installing mechanical performance upgrades. Am I on the right path?

You don't necessarily have to retune just for intake but you probably should just wait for all parts to be in first to do a tune

If you are going to get custom tuned, you should add all the go fast parts first then custom tune. Most tuners charge to retune your car for new mods. You can run a basemap included with your flashpro until you finish adding your go fast stuff

You will definitely need a custom or retune if you install the downpipe. Air intake not so much but do not install the downpipe without a tune.

even with an intake that says no tune needed, each one is going to have a slightly different MAF curve that needs adjusted. Most of the aftermarket ones make you run a little richer and burn more gas. You wont really notice and dont have to, but I would, but then again I actually care
