That’s good to hear. So I can probably run the two stage 1+ with 92 octane and still be able to enjoy the tune?

I'm interested, but not enough to pull the trigger. I'll lurk on this thread and keep watching for sob stories. TSP Stage 1 has been great on my car. Over 40k miles and 3 years plus with zero issues.

Having it since april ... day & night ! I'm full bolt on except Intercooler ... clutch still holding good on my 2017. I saw a drastic change on gas mileage ... now I'm at 6.9l/100km vs stage 1 didnt go down under 7.4l/100km

This tune is perfect ... way better than stg 1 and you have more power at top end . I will never go back stg 1.

The only negatif of this stg 1+ its 93 oct minimum and the knock is more sensitive ... but I never go up 0.55 on hard pull and most of time at 0.49 . So if you have the gas available in your area you can't pass on stg 1+ !

Tested it map 2 for like 2 weeks.. to looks if clutch will hold and now running map 3 every days!

The extra money for this upgrade worth it for sure!

I use 91 oct and none knock .

Premium fuel (91 or 93 octane) is REQUIRED for gasoline use. Ethanol content should be limited to 30-40% when blending E85 with gasoline. (35% recommended)

I think you might be looking at TSP’s flex fuel tune. Max ethanol on this tune is supposed to be 15%. I have a feeling most people are ending up around E18-E20 though if they’re adding 1.5gal E85 to every fill up.

For stg 1+, the minimum is 91 oct and not 93 oct.

for those to whom this can be useful i am using oct 91 and all is well.

my mistake

Premium fuel (91 or 93 octane) is REQUIRED.

Negative. 93 is REQUIRED for TSP 1+. It’s in the description on their website, throughout this thread and FB groups.

91 octane is only suitable if you are adding 1.5 gallons of e85 per fill up from empty.

Some even add a bit of e85 with 93 to keep KC in check if their 93 fuel is not the greatest quality.

So basically don’t run tsp1+ Thanks for the reply. I’m new to this. So basically don’t get the tune since I only have 92 in my area?

Not saying that, just clarifying so people don’t have the wrong information and run low quality fuel on a tune that needs the best they can get.

I ran TSP1+ for over 2 months with 91 and 1.5 gallons of e85 on every fill up and really enjoyed it. Definitely was a step above TSP1 in terms of driveabilty and added a tad bit more of performance.

I just recently reflashed to Phearable 1.5R to see how that feels using the same fuel set up compared to TSP1+

How do you like the phearable1.5r?
So do you think I should do the tsp stage1 since it says 91 or 93 and I have 92 or go with the phearable 1.5 for my first tune?

I haven’t put a ton of miles on it yet, but I am really enjoying it so far. I feel a difference for sure. Seems smoother and the power just feels better on the 1.5R.

If you don’t have 93 available or at the least e85 to mix in, I would not suggest the 1+ or R tunes.
