All pre-orders (with the exception of one we received yesterday) have already shipped. We expect for the pre-sale period to end next week and for the product to become one of our regularly stocked items going forward. When is this expected to release?
We recommend at least 40% but have seen no adverse effects of using straight E85 if tuned properly. The Hondata base maps heavily favor straight E85.How much ethanol should I use on my car ?
Thanks for the replyWe recommend at least 40% but have seen no adverse effects of using straight E85 if tuned properly. The Hondata base maps heavily favor straight E85.
Why do you say that about the Hondata base maps? What is it about them that makes you say that? Is it that they run lean at WOT?We recommend at least 40% but have seen no adverse effects of using straight E85 if tuned properly. The Hondata base maps heavily favor straight E85.
The way the ethanol tables are scaled, by default, require a high ethanol content to fully take advantage of the ignition and boost increases. Custom tuning can easily change that though, if desired. Why do you say that about the Hondata base maps? What is it about them that makes you say that?
Would that be the same for the Ktuner Flex Fuel basemaps as well?We recommend at least 40% but have seen no adverse effects of using straight E85 if tuned properly. The Hondata base maps heavily favor straight E85.
No, they default to an approximate 37.5% requirement for max power out of the base maps.Would that be the same for the Ktuner Flex Fuel basemaps as well?
I've not see any dyno charts for the E85 base map, but with a custom tune we have seen as high as 300whp / 375+ ft lbs of torque. (with an intake, downpipe, and clutch)Any rough power estimates for this mod for 1) stock w/ flex fuel enabled, and 2) custom tune?
No intercooler?I've not see any dyno charts for the E85 base map, but with a custom tune we have seen as high as 300whp / 375+ ft lbs of torque. (with an intake, downpipe, and clutch)
I do not recall. For the most part an intercooler is going to keep temps down to keep your power up during repeated WOT pulls, it is not much of a power adder by itself. (with the stock turbo)No intercooler?
