tsb/recall is just a flash now?

Question. Heard from multiple sources that the TSB/recall is now just a flash update. So there is no point doing it since it will be overwritten by the TSP Stage 1 map correct? @D-RobIMW

His tune does not effect what the recall changes and you should still get the recall, it has to do with the climate system and oil dilution not fuel and stuff

Would it be unreasonable to think that the climate control and oil dilution parameters are still contained in the same ECU map file that gets uploaded to our cars? Even though KTuner software severely limits our access to these areas.


This bring me back to the whole point of it being over-written by whatever is contained within the TSP Stage 1 tune file.

I think the ecu has different files for different systems so the files that he modifies for the tune doesn’t touch the climate that they update. Many users have flashed to stock and got the tsb update and then reflagged their tunes and still have the change that the dealer updated

They still update your climate control module; which is really the important part.

The climate control module and the ECU are two separate things.
