And they only get a flat rate of 1.1 hours ... seems there would be a big temptation to rush, and we all know what happens then

What is not clear is which Vehicles need the AC updated (1245A8) , and which ones do not (1245A9) ???

I have a late build 18, sept. Hope i have the new-one...i am going to post a question about this that has me concerned, a friend comment on something, when i get a moment i will post it.

It's just a control logic update to get the vehicle to warm up faster, following a cold start. I think both of those units are fairly easy to access (I need to double check).

Its on certain VINs, you should be getting a letter if your vehicle is affected.

Has anyone had this performed and been able to flash back with ktuner and hondahack? I would obviously flash back to stock and unmarry before heading in for service.

Derek at IMW is recommending those with bolt on like Race MAF or turbo hold off until they know what the update entails. Ktuner is asking anyone who has the update to email them after the update before flashing their tune again.
