Trunk button falling apart

One side is a clip, one side is a nesting pad.it's kinda of like a tv remote control. I have had mine all apart to wrap my hatch.... in my option I would use some super glue and stick it back in..... dealer will have to rip apart everything to get the new peice in there. Probably mess it up

Don't try to glue this or something like that.

The parts for this car are cheap, and if you don't want a dealer to handle it, buy the part online and snap it in yourself.

Same exact thing just happened to mine. Noticed it 2 days ago. Clip on one side is broken like yours. My car is still under warranty so off to the dealer it goes. Hopefully they don't have to disassemble the hatch, just the housing.
