Thoughts on changing the transmission fluid at 25K?
Many thanks!

A lot of people are doing every 30k. Honda recommends at like 60k.

Nothing wrong with 25k if you want to spend the money. The transmission might feel a bit smoother for the next 10k miles.

Many believe changing the oil to a thicker, better quality synchromesh fluid like Amsoil is the way to go.

Honda recommends only Honda Genuine MTF. Of course a heavier weight oil is going to feel more slick than thin Honda MTF, but i don’y think anyone thinks it will do actual harm to the transmission.

The LSD also shares the same oil pan for lubrication. So you would also be servicing the LSD at the same time.

I changed mine at 37k, the stock mtf felt like trash compared to AMS, I hope this lasts longer
