Trade Black for CW?

Just found out my CTR is going to be black with an ETA of 6/21. Anyone want/willing to trade CW for black? Black is really the only color I don't want. I'm in NC and you can PM me if you don't want to respond here. I've asked the dealer to see if they can trade, but am happy to get it and trade up, if anyone is down for it.

What dealer and location are you at? I'm #2 on the list and have no idea who #1 is. I'm in NC as well. I thought maybe if you're #1 at the same dealer, we could trade so we both get one. I don't care what color I get. I just want one SO bad!

I'm sure they will. If they are anything like Scott Clark Honda. Scott Clark Honda told me "You know this is going to be a $50k car, right". Honestly, I'd be OK paying $5K over MSRP. I know that's not wise, but I really want one of these cars. It's a car I'll never plan on selling and will be a fun car only. Garage kept and well taken care of. Yeah I don't think many places will sell them for MSRP. I'd just like to hear back from my dealer. I've called, emailed, and texted them with no response. SO FRUSTRATING

@PowerOfDreams2017 as of yesterday Van York in highpoint had a white one, no deposit taken and they were taking deposits. CW. 5k ADM.

Thanks man...I just got off the phone with them (I talked to a lady named Cathy) and everything you said was true. They are marking them up 5k. She said the CW just had a deposit put down yesterday evening. She said they are expecting another one in 2-3 months. She didn't know the color yet, and she said 5k was about the lowest in the area. All of the other dealers in the area are charging 8-10k in markups.

Yeah that's who we bought our HR-V from. Super nice guy. I actually went down and talked with my salesman's manager yesterday and we have it in writing that I pay MSRP + the accessories that has been ordered on the car. It will hopefully be here in the next batch of CTR"s. He even said he would call me when the first R gets here just so I can look at it. He seems like a decent guy and very friendly.
