I'm gonna get a set of wheels to put my winter tires on and am curious what sensors I'll need to get. Having the light on all the time will drive me nuts. Any info to steer me in the right direction would be great, thanks!

There's generic ones, but the dealer should also sell them. For my Telluride Kia charged $50 per TPMS.

One thing I'm glad my Civic doesn't have lol

You mean I don’t need to install (ie pay) for any TPMS sensor for my 2016 civic? I am gonna go to Costco for wheel installation.

Sorry, my last point may have confused you. I don't have the Touring edition, so no TPMS function on my Honda.

If you are keeping two sets of wheels/rims, then you need sensors in both summer and winter tires. If you only have one set of rims and take the tires on/off each season, then you just keep the same TPMS in the wheels.

The 10th gen Civic doesn't use tpms sensors in the wheels.

When you swap out to the winter wheels just recalibrate the tpms system on the dash. Done.

On US models tpms is calculated by the abs speed sensor, I believe.

And actually (I could be wrong), in Canada, not only are there no tpms sensors in the wheels, I don't think they have a tpms system at all.
