The features are there as a back up but not a substitute. It's like saying you can drive poorly b/c you have a seatbelt on. That was her rational anyways.I hate when people think those feature excuses them for being shitty drivers LOL I mean I’ve had the CMS stop the car when exciting the highway and prevent me from rear ending someone but it happened once out of the 4 years I’ve had the car lol
I know someone who has a BMW that has those little sensors all over the front and back bumper. They are the size of a penny and I'm sure you have seen them they are little circles and are proximity sensors. Anyways, she was driving the car and a rock flew and struck a sensor and now none of them work and can only be fixed at the dealership in excess of $1,000.
Sometimes less is more.
