Touch screen went plaid

I pulled the fuse to reset, disconnected the battery, Pulled the whole head unit out and put it back in. Still the screen is un-viewable, not all black.
Can I replace just the screen?
Should I get a factory head unit from ebay and swap it out?

I have not. I try to avoid the stealership as much as possible

Have you tried, screen dimmer switch button + Audio Power + Menu button at the same time ?

I didnt try that.
I did replace it with a new part from Honda. $955 out the door, ouch.
New screen on the old head unit fixed the problem.

Ah dam that's pricey, did they atleast give some discount over standard pricing ? What's the part number for the new screen ?

What sort of mileage do you have on your car ? (doesn't translate to exact hours of run time due to highway vs city driving, just curiosity)

I rent this car on Turo. it has 92,000 miles. Mostly freeway driving. It sits outside in the Las Vegas sun a lot, I was thinking that didn't help.
