Best I can tell the spec for most all Honda cars is 80lbft. For some reason my civic is taking several cranks to get the wrench to click. I used garage line spacers on my TLX and no problem. Same spacers and wrench on my civic and it seems to take several cranks on each wheel to get a click. Trust the click? Or is there a bigger issue here?

If you have a click-type torque wrench, not torque sticks, 80 ft-lbs is 80 ft-lbs when it clicks. Are the threads in the lug nuts and studs galled?

the threads look fine. I took it to a tire shop just to be sure.
