yes, you have to cut all the vents (front and back). Best to use a jig-saw if you have one. I used a saw-saw and it was a little difficult.

jig saw won’t work, saw saw gonna be a pain as well. Bought a power tool with a cutting wheel and did it that way.

For those wondering in getting a pair. Just know that the paint is very thin. They obviously didn't coat them that well which caused chipping on both vents. Now I'll have to go through the trouble of removing, sanding, repainting & reinstall them again. Shouldn't have to go through this when I paid $140.

Is that aluminum or plastic? Maybe u can touch it up with a fine paintbrush or marker in the meantime.

Plastic. I might just vinyl wrap it since I'm doing a whole color change.
