Too late to debadge?

I’m thinking about debadging my car, but I’ve had it for about a year now and am worried about the whole “tan line” issue some ppl seem to have had with a car staying outside the whole time. You think a year is too late to debadge without having the tan line issue on the paint?

car is still new to have any tan lines.

can always buff it.

usually just a bit of wax over the rub marks is good enough (paint is real thin!)
