I was on OfferUp looking at some cars and came across this. I know this must be too good to be true. Even with the amount of mileage and it being a Type R, what are your thoughts based off of this single pic? Perhaps single responses such as “Yay”, “NOPE”, “BS”

Definitely on the lower-priced end, but not a miracle deal or anything. Something might be wrong, I wouldn't buy this sight-unseen.

That is a fair price due to mileage and if it is sold by a private party not unreasonable. My buddy just bought a 2017 with only 1k miles for $36k.

Are those the correct fuel economy numbers for the type-R. I just googled it and it should be 22/28.
I notice it's also just called a 2019 civic (no type-r). It's possible this is a dolled up sport HB.

fuel economy numbers are probably for a regular civic as its listed as a 2017 honda civic not civic type r. if somebody did that much to make their sport hatch look like a type r between that front end and interior they may as well have put that money down for the r lol

but to the OP it's definitely low and i'd go see it before i bought it but its not outrageous. maybe they have been looking to sell for a while and are cutting the price in an effort to make a quicker sale.

Someone I know just got a 2018 with decent miles for $28k. If the seller is motivated, they will price it accordingly!

That is a deal if clean title with no stories. Identical to 2019 that I bought “used” with 57 miles it for $35500. One concern that I have with buying a used Type R is how it was treated over the covered miles. On an Accord, 30k Miles .. not even broke in, vs a Type R? Not that I would EVER take the car to REDLINE...Google the vin , but all checks out, will not lose many $’s over the next 2 or 3 years in depreciation.. and remember, the BIGGEST COST OF OWNING A NEW CAR, is DEPRECIATION.. period..

Not a miracle price, but a bargain. However, while it looks legit, "2019 honda civic" sounds funny. I also see the front lip is scratched up quite a bit. I know people who baby their Type R would never let this happen. I have seen a 2017 type R around same mileage with 2 accidents already, and the lip looked just like that.
