After reading every page of this thread over the last year, I finally caved and ordered 19” TS-5’s in satin titanium this weekend. They will be my daily wheels. I’ll save the cheap Motegi MR924 for track/autocross. I have no intentions of ever lowering the car, and I really think the 19” looks best on a stock height car.

Looks great!

What are those lugs?
Looks like Project Kics monoliths with red caps. I’ve ordered them in neochrome for my incoming 19” TS-5’s, but was just informed they are on a nationwide 3-4 month back order. Bummer.

My 19” satin titanium TS-5’s came in while I was in Alaska last week. Finally got to unbox them yesterday. I am extremely impressed with both the quality and the lightness. They are noticeably lighter than my Motegi MR924 autocross wheels. I’m very excited to burn off what’s left of the OEM tires and put those 20” wheels away long term. I’m going to go with either PS4S or AS4 in 255/35. I would welcome feedback on the AS4. If it’s 90% as good as the PS4S I will probably choose it so I don’t have to park the car on cold days.

You boys making me so envious with those TD6s. Can't find 18x9.5 5x120 +45's for the death of me.

congrats on the wheels! I went with 19in also, but went 265/35 to fill in the gap a little bit more since I am stock height. I have some pics of the set up on insta @type.rtard

I wouldn't mind the extra width, but 255/35 is already a bit larger in diameter than OEM. How's the steering feedback with the extra sidewall height?

after the stock contis wore down, I went with 245/35/20 and noticed a less sharp turn in as compared to the 245/30. Nothing too terrible though. When I went with the 265/35/19, the difference wasn't as extreme as with the 245/35 vs 245/30. but my main concern right now is sidewall though. I would have went 255 if my area wasn't undergoing road work at the moment

I'm planning on purchasing a set of T-S5 (19x9.5 +45). I've never purchased a set of aftermarket wheels before so I want to make sure I'm covering all my bases.

I'll be using these wheels all year round so I'll be picking up some all season tires (CONTINENTALEXTREME CONTACT DWS06 PLUS). After reading through the tread it seems like 255/35/19 on STOCK height is safe with NO rubbing, correct? I don't plan on lowering it BUT if the wheel gap isn't to my liking then I would eventually lower it (Spoon springs). Would I rub with a 255/35 tire when lowered?

Besides the wheels & tires is there anything else I need to purchase for the wheels? Lug nuts?

I have zero complaints about the AS4 on my car. 255/35/19 all that it costs you is you can sneeze without changing lanes like on the stockers. And that's on MR924s. I bet they'd be delightful losing that extra few pounds going to the Titans.
