I ordered the Titan T-R10 18 X 9.5 +45 from DSG today in machine black for my CW Type R. Going to go with stock suspension so it would be 265 / 35 / 18?

With stock suspension the 265/35/18 leaves a good size fender gap which doesn't look appealing. The 255/40/18 fills the wheel well better and will be less speedo error also. It is really a tough decision which I am also trying to make. I'm thinking that I will go with 19" wheels with 255/35/19 tires. I still have some mileage left on my stock tires before I need to decide.

I appreciate the feedback. Hell I'm 43 with aches and pains so the 40 series may be a smoother ride too. I bought the car late January and had trips planned and then bam COVID happened. I'm not a fan of the 20's with paper thing tires and the last thing I want on a cruise is a flat.

I'm not far behind you and feel the same way. My 18" winter wheels/tires ride so much better but the steering response with the 20's is amazing. I'm thinking the 19's will be a good enough compromise for me between comfort and performance. I'll be leaving my suspension stock also.

I bought my Type R a few weeks ago, and though I'll probably wait until the stock tires get worn, naturally I'm already trying to decide what wheels I want. I love the T-S5s, but I feel like in black or the grey "titanium" finish they get a little lost on a black car. Anyone powder coated them silver (and have pictures on their car)? I feel like it would stand out more and look a little different than stock.

Do you know if the wheels currently shipping going to be the raw unfinished spokes?
Yes, they look just like the pictures above. I got mine in bronze on the 21st and went to mount them yesterday. Only to find out they forgot to include the valve stems! I could have made something work with a TPMS sensor stem. But then I'd have to break the bead down on them when the new stems arrive.

Lesson to everyone, is check the boxes for your valve stems before attempting to mount the tires.

The T-D6 look like a mix between TE37 and 57DR. Trying to decide if I want to cancel my T-S5 order and wait for these. I like them both for different reasons...

Ya, I almost got the 57DR. But I have set on another Civic. When I saw these at SEMA, I knew I had to have them and just waited. I like the machined part around the spokes.

So My titan 7 (T7-TR10-45) Ordered on 5/16 and processed on 5/18 hasn't shipped yet. I ordered them from DSG Performance (I'm in Dallas Texas). Is there any cause for alarm? I have been out of the car scene for years and these are the 1st aftermarket wheels I've bought since 2008. Those were work wheels schwert sc1 for an IS and I remember those took months due to being from oversees. I'm just anxious and looking forward to them. If people can vouch for DSG being legit then it would help me relax. Thanks people
