.. I'm thinking about a forged set of wheels for my CTR. it's a daily driver, and with less than 1,000 miles so far, i'm already certain the 20" rollers have to be shelved. if the asphalt is not like glass, every wrinkle in the road is just too much for my teeth! terrible.

do you all have a preference between the Titan 7 T-S5 and RSR 903? they seem so similar... offset is 45 vs. 40, weight is 18.1 vs. 18.2.. same appearance, basically. T-S5 offers a 'machine black', which i'm into (is it 'gloss' black like the CTR OEM wheel?). i believe T-S5 and RSR R903s are priced the same too. is there a difference in build or finish quality? i'm leaning toward the T-S5 forged wheels.

I also like the look of the T-S5 in 19", even if i'd lose sidewall compared to the 18". i see most go 18".. only a limited number of the forum members here seem to choose the 19" option.

finally, TIRES! while most here recommend the 265/35/18 (i'll be on stock suspension), the 255/40/18 (and 255/35/19) specs looks closer to OEM, yes? I really want to keep my speedometer accurate!

I have Titan7 TR10 with the new Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4. That’s what i would recommend for tires. I had the PS 3+ prior to these and i like these better. I went with 265/35/18 stock height just in case down the road decided to lower also like the extra width.

I personally think rsr 903 looks nicer because the line on the wheel.. it is little bit cheaper as well.. however i will choose Titan 7 ts5 because it is easier to resell it in the future. I change my wheel often.

been on the fence on getting Titan but decided to look for Volk Racing. The bigges turn off for me is that they are made in China vs Japan.

i would personally suggest the Titan as some mentioned already. i also prefer the 19 looks. either way i dont think you can go wrong, but after having the PS4S tires i would suggest those. they're great so far for me!

im not running RSR or Titans but im on 19's with stock suspension to give you an idea of the look

I have titan 7 and I wish I went with RSR because its a lot more uncommon they're both good you can also email RSR and have a custom offset.

I'm a bigger fan of 19" wheels on the car with stock suspension. I feel like the 18's need a drop to avoid looking too small for the wheel wells. I'm currently using 19" Motegi's for autocross. Still on stockers for daily use though. I like the feel.

I can't find any pics of it on the R but I like these

I was choosing between Titan-7 and Wedssports when first searching for wheels, everything was out of stock everywhere and I managed to snag a set of TC105Xs. I'm 100% satisfied with them, but eventually I'll need a second set of wheels to be able to run super sticky tires in the summer, and the A/S3+ for fall through spring. The Konig Ampliforms would be a perfect second set, but I also really want a 6 spoke wheel

Have you noticed a lot of difference between the PS4S and PS 4 A/S? I know the A/S treadwear is nearly double that of the 4S. Is the stickiness and performance worth losing out on ~20000 miles?

its been a while since i've ran the PS A/S (on my 9th gen Si when i was living in NJ) i would opt for the Summer PS4S tires and wrap the stock tires in 245/35 winter tires. but from what i remember with the PS A/S they weren't as sticky as the Conti DWS that i switched to after them. and now the PS4S are worlds better (they are a summer tire tho so can't really compare them to an AS)

also the PS A/S are like half the price for double the life

still working through the 18" vs. 19" thing in my head. agreed 19" may look better..

anything i choose will have to be lightweight first. and lightweight requirement usually equals FORGED. many of you have suggested WedsSport wheels. How does this 18" wheel come in at just 20.2 pounds and it is NOT forged?? Flow Formed Cast?

You could always go 265/30R19. Best of both worlds: wider tire and slightly taller sidewall while still maintaining a road feel similar to stock. Not sure how they look without lowering springs though.

There are flow form that is light weight.
I have a set of superspeed rf05rr.. canadian brand.. 18" x 9.5 for just 18lbs..
Very good quality, many ppl in canada here have it for track.
They just came out their forged wheel.. same factory they are using as titan.
