Recently got new wheels for my civic sport and needing some new tires soon. I currently have OEM tires on 18x9.5+22 wheels. What tire size can I go with that can be good for them? I was debating on 245's and 255's. Which one is better? Also my wheels are sticking out a bit, what problems should I look out for in the future?

I think +35 or higher would look better with your setup, unless you lowered it more

I ran the same exact specs on my old wheels and had a 255/35/18 tire and it was perfect.
