TireRack.com (mobile install)

Has anyone ever used TireRack.com’s mobile install service before? How was it and was there any benefit compared to taking a car to a tire shop?

My Parents Hyundai Sonata desperately needs some tires for it and I’m trying to surprise them with this as a gift

i used it. they subcontracted it to a local company called GoMobile. showed up on time and took about 25-30 mins to mount my tires on my wheels. i would def use the service again. super convenient.

Did you by chance tip the installer or just pay them the TireRack install fee? I just want to make sure my parents won't need to do anything other than enjoy their new tires

all i did was throw the dude an extra tip because he was super careful with my new Rays.
