Great choice. I'd go with 245/40R18.
Yeah, I just edited my post with the size. 245/40/18 is the way to go.

I am going down to a 17x8 wheel to get 255 tires on. Other people have as similar set up to this, so I hope it works out.

255-35-18 fit on the OEM Si/sport wheels, there are a few posts on FB with people running that size, tight but fits.

Tires I would look at Nitto, Toyo, Falken and Hankook

Looks good man! Is that stock height? And what were the final wheel and tire specs you went with?
Stock height. Motegi Racing 17x8 +40 offset. RE-71 255/40/17.

I am not sure, but I am running +40 offset and the wheels do stick out a hair. You might have to go with +45s like the TRMotorsport FF10 wheels.
