Hello, I just moved in the Tacoma/Summit/Puyallup area.

Looking for tire shop recommendations since I only have summer tires on, Conti Extreme Contact Sport, which from what I read you can't use below 45 degrees. I don't mind driving far for a good/reputable shop.

Is it safe if I just keep those tires or should I go for all seasons?

Thank you in advance!

IMO, you will be fine as long as you dont drive it when it is snowing or below freezing outside. I drive on PIlot Sport 4S (the summer michelins) when it is not track season (Nov-March)

Keep in mind that this is assuming you are fairly familiar handling the car in lower grip situations. If you drive normally and stay under boost you shouldn't have any issues at all.

If you want additional peace of mind you can run an all season tire. My friend who also owns an R works at Les Schwab in Tacoma (on 6th ave), you can bring it there.
