I think most new cars look better with tint as it matches the piano black window
pillars every car seems to have nowadays. Makes the whole side window area one uniform gloss black without any breaks.
Now whether you want to deal with the lack of visibility at night or attention from the cops is a different story.
I usually go 15% (or 20%? can't remember) all around + 5% windshield strip. I do think going any darker is too much. If my vision was any worse, even mine at night would be challenging to deal with in some situations.
