Tinting CTR’s?

I think most new cars look better with tint as it matches the piano black window
pillars every car seems to have nowadays. Makes the whole side window area one uniform gloss black without any breaks.

Now whether you want to deal with the lack of visibility at night or attention from the cops is a different story.

I usually go 15% (or 20%? can't remember) all around + 5% windshield strip. I do think going any darker is too much. If my vision was any worse, even mine at night would be challenging to deal with in some situations.

I tint first and foremost for sun. And where I live tint is pretty damn mandatory. Even the cops tint their cars here.

Do you mind posting a pic of CBP tinted? I have a '20 CBP, and was planning to tint. I think black cars just look right with tint

35% Llumar ceramic, keeps the heat out, not too dark, looks good with the mugen visors

35% Suntek Carbon all around. I would probably do 40%+ if I can do it all over again, but my installer insisted on me going with 35% :/ Also have 70% Suntek Ceramic on the windshield.

Always liked the fishbowl look, but the UV/heat rejection is amazing. Especially since our cars don't have the best AC

hey guys my first mod was tinting straight from the dealer to the tinter, i got 20% on the front 2 to match the privacy glass on the rear windows and hatch glass, not the best photo sorry, but love the dark tint.

20% all the way around and 50% on the windshield. It's absolutely perfect IMO.

They have factory tint on the rear windows and hatch glass from factory for Australian models?

No it does not...every vehicle looks better with tint...it help see the whole shape or the car better. It's a must.

That said I'm not a fan of limo tint...too dark isn't great...I like then dark but not limo opaque

I have seen lots of CW’s with tints locally, and a few without tints and on the CW’s dark tints kill the look to me, especially with the big black 20’s with big mud guards
