different strokes for different folks! I intentionally wanted the storm trooper/panda look so I tinted mine 35% all around.

Also living in socal a white car + tint is common--maybe a little too common. It beats the heat.

Tough call on full tint with CW if you want the appearance to flow instead of contrast. Think of privacy, cooling and UV protection. Red seats will probably turn pink under UV in 10-15 years. CBP flows with the tint.

I tinted the front and back windows and the rear windscreen just a little (3M Color Stable). The factory tint does not provide and block UV like a good tint does...

Thought I requested 35%, but think the tint shop took additional liberties, because it looks pretty dark. Guessing this is a lower percentage, but think it contrasts well with the other dark accents that are going on.

One thing i learned from my tint guy is that the interior color will play a part in how transparent the tint looks along with the angle. Since we have a black interior, no sun roof, etc. it will look dark in a lot of angles. Mine's also 35% but from my profile pic it looks like limo.

I cant imagine going any darker cause in a dark street i already have to roll my windows down to line myself up with the curb when parking.

As I anxiously await my 2021 FK8...I have been looking at these cars with, and without tints...now with that being said...for me personally...I think DARK tints kind of ruin the look of the car, especially on the CW...anybody else feel the same way?
I feel the same way. I wish mine was 35% or lighter but thats how I bought it. I think mine is probably 20%. Hate it at night.

I went with 35% ceramic Xpel everywhere but the windshield. I own nothing but white cars, and I always tint to the legal limit. I like the look. Untinted cars look cheap to me.

I've got llumar pinnacle nano ceramic on mine in 35% smoke all the way around, It's dark enough to provide some privacy if some dipshit is trying to have a staring contest but still legal and I can still see out of the windows at night.
I’m getting this done as we speak.

I went with 3M Crystalline, 90% on the windshield, 40% front, 30% rear. Really happy with how it turned out as it looks dark from the outside but has very little reduced visibility from inside at night.
