I'll be the first to start this convo! Last night went to Orlando speedway and finally ran my car. I am on the fourth revision with vit currently, running mishimoto intake and Invidia N1 exhaust. Ran 14.7 without break hold. My 60' time sucks! LOL

Need to work on your reaction time. You'll be a lot faster. If you can get it down to a .1xx you'd be in the low 14's. Also, how did you launch from the starting line and what gear did you have it in?

Awesome time! Slow 60ft is probably more CVT lag than reaction time.
Did you use D, S or L?

I've read that with CVT, you can brake hold and rev to around 2,000, then launch. I wonder if L would have been faster?

I think L is always faster. Based on dyno charts, the horspower at 6000 rpm (when L stays) is higher than the average horsepower between 5000 rpm and 6000 rpm (the range that S revs within). As S fakes an upshifts, I'm sure there must be a momentary break in power as revs drop from 6k to 5k.

He trapped 1mph faster and ran 14.2, so I know if I get a good r/t I should be at least 14.3-14.2

Reaction time doesn't affect 1/4 mile time.

OP if you drop your 60' time to a 2.1 you might go low 14's

Any updates?

Try lowering the front tire pressure to get a quicker 60'.
