What I really want to know is what kind of beater you drive all winter.

Humza needs to sell beaters lol
Haha

I have a 05 Tsx 6mt with oem aspec lip kit all around

08 euro headlights
05 euro rear fog light with oem signal stalk (must for me)
Morimotto 06+ fogs retrofitted to my 05 mount

Been reflashed 8k redline

Yonaka catback

Complete oem suspension overhaul, wheel bearings, control arms, calipers, brakes.

TL type S front and rear sway bars and end links

Koni yellow shocks with eibach pro kits with a conservative drop. Can go another 20mm by changing the perches if I want but keeping this a proper daily/winter beater LOl.

Mugen zwei NR wheels for summer with yokohama apex v601

TL oem wheels with general winters

I plan to keep this car for a long time. I do have a mild build plan for it now that all the maintenance is taken care of but let's see next season.

Got a little gift from the coworkers! And brought car out a few times the last 2 weeks as the weather is really nice here!

Didn't get much snow this year so far lol. Gave the car a wash yesterday then parked it back. Probably going to be taking it out more often now.

Those statements seem to be in contradiction with each other.

8K redline, on a what sounds like a stock block k24, is asking for trouble.

Haha I agree. Not like I hit 8k daily. More like once a month I'd give it a little go. I'm pretty conservative when driving and don't beat the shit out of my cars.

I've seen guys bump stock K24A2s to 8600 on track and they usually live 2-3 seasons with extended abuse like that before they start chewing on bearings. If the car isn't being tracked a stock K24 will live a long life with an 8k redline provided it isn't held up there for long periods of time.

Mounted a set of yokohama v601 on Saturdag to get ready for summer!

My Michelin PSS were on their last legs lol... balding. Luckily a friend had a set of these v601 laying around so scooped them up.

Running the same tires on my tsx as well. They are a great set.

Haven't posted anything in a while!

Tsx is down as it needs a clutch, I have all the parts already

- exedy stage 1 clutch kit with 8.9lb flywheel
- hybrid racing cmc and slave kit
- New axle seals, rear main seal
- oem throwout bearing
- amsoil mtf

Tsx should be going in for clutch replacement in a week or 2.

Since that Cars been down I been driving the civic quite regularly rain or shine lol...luckily it's not winter.

As most of you know all of last year was chasing a misfire and getting a bunch of stuff swapped out...this year I just been enjoying driving it quite regularly.

Here's a few random pics

Another update on the Si!

Got a great deal on a set of ctr seats. So figured I would swap out the evo-x recaros.

To install the Ctr seats it's pretty much plug and play, the only things I had to do was:
- Swap over the Si seat harness onto the ctr seats both left and right
- if you have heated seats there will be an unused plug still as the ctr do not have heating elements.
- Recalibrate the Srs/Sws

* I plan on installing the Si elements into the ctr seats and replacing driver side seat cushion and cover over winter time. I'll document that.

All in all I'm happy with the swap, no dash lights for SRS malfunction.

In comparison, my civic doesn't see track time at the moment and the Recaros as nice as they are I felt I could lose the snug feeling and go with CTR seats to ensure I have a proper functioning daily/fun car with all working air bags.

The ctr seats are a little softer and feel a touch more roomy vs the Recaros.

If anyone has any questions regarding the install for ctr seats just ask!

Also the reds kinda nice. (Might be biased....)

They only make it as a Fk7 lip. But the Si shares the same bumper so it's a direct fit. You don't need anything from the hatch.
