Glad it does more and makes it tighter. Def another thing to do now
Also increasing more camber on the bottom doesn't push in the camber at the top as it'll shift the entire shock outwards. If you want more camber up top you'll need adjustable top hats (if anyone makes it) or coilovers that come with camber plates.

Man I haven't updated this since July! This year was spent driving the car as is and I'm happy with how it sits. Also ran out of ideas for this year haha!.

Going to make two posts. This one is kind of exciting.

Had the opportunity to attend SEMA in Vegas with Humza (@CanadiaegeanBlue) as team @Unity Performance and was the first time for myself.

What an experience and the crazy builds we saw and the people we met! Looking forward to attending every year!

My most favorite part of attending Vegas was getting the opportunity to visit the place that inspired my build and also getting the chance to get my hands dirty!

@Vincent@27WON had organized an evening filled with meet and greet and introduced the new international business partners plan! As most of you know @Unity Performance will be catering to the Canadian Market!

So had the chance to meet them face to face and check out the amazing facility!

I had promised Vincent prior to coming to Vegas I would help with an install haha and he did not forget. At the end of the party once everyone had left he came out carrying the box and Said "you promised" so myself, humza and the guys at 27won got down to it and switched out factory halogens with the Vland Sequential Headlights and the Unity Performance Sequential side markers!

The side markers was the first set to be installed outside of Humzas Type R. It was one of the first test units we got.

Here are some pictures!

I finally switched over from the 27won Street maf which I had laying around to the 27won Race Maf and man what a difference. I still need to do a custom tune, to run this maf housing I switched from Ktuner to Hondata as hondata has the option to select for it.

I still need to get a custom tune but it's going to have to wait until spring. Will be switching back to ktuner at that time!

Could be an awesome Halloween outfit! IronWon :hmm::hmm:

Is there anything you guys would like to see more of? Any questions about anything? Anything I can do?
I ended up picking up a Hybrid Racing shifter and detent springs with that ridiculous sale. Which throw location and spring did you use when you were running it?

Hybrid is definitely a nice choice I enjoyed it when I had it. Just found it a little too soft for my liking.

Detent springs I have not tried yet.

For the height you can check the comparison I put up on page 13 for reference. But that should be set to how you like.

If its too low the shaft will hit the bottom of the shifter you can see the markings on the pictures.

You aren't kidding about scraping on height! I see you were in position 2 ( the shortest throw setting)

The detent springs are supposed to tighten things up, especially left to right recentering. I'll be trying them with my current Type R + Acuity setup first. For the price, it's a worthwhile experiment

Definitely let me know how that feels. Been wanting to try it just to see.

Could you give us some feedback or suggestions for 27won bbk brake pads for track use?

I ran Hawk DTC70 pads which were awesome up front and had Hawk Street 5.0 rear. The rear end was dragging a bit didn't feel like it was braking enough compared to the front so was a little rough.

Next season I'm going to try some DTC60 front and DTC30 rear.

Didn't get much track time this year.

Do the Type R rear brakes add any value to the overall set up (e.g., balancing the braking bias w/ the BBK up front) or were they simply an aesthetic addition to match the red front calipers? We’re these a direct swap from the OEM Si calipers or was some fabrication required (I don’t think I’ve seen any write up in here on this mod).

Great build. The Mugen bits were a really clean touch.

Hey thanks!
The only difference is type r is aluminum (which should help dissipate heat better) and factory painted. If using the type r caliper for the rear it's a direct swap onto the Si brackets. I don't know if the R bracket and Si bracket are the same.

Other than that I don't think it makes much of a difference.

For write up its not necessary it's literally a direct swap and plug and play. No calibration required however you'll need a scan tool that has the capabilities to put the calipers in maintenance mode and back to normal mode. That is all.

To compensate for the bbk I would just recommend better rotors and pads for the rear

Right now I'm using hawk hp 5.0 street pads on the front 27won bbk and also hawk hp 5.0 street for the rear with stoptech slotted rotors.

For track I'll be using hawk dtc60 up front and dtc30 in the rear.

Are you using upgraded radiator hoses? Any feedback if they are worth it? I’m going Koyorad as the rad will be blocked by the oil cooler. Thinking of doing hoses. Just need those and dtc-30 and then I’m set for the track
