Next upgrade: Morimoto XB Led

One of my oem fogs cracked so I decided to upgrade to the morimoto xb led. It is sold for the 9th gen but it will work for the 10th.

To make the xb led work on the 10th one of the mounting holes on the actual light assembly needs to be cut or modified. Very simple to do. I marked an arrow on the picture pointing at it.

Next up

Custom front air duct,
27won rear motor mount,
type r rear sway bar with accord endlinks.

Initially I had the mishimoto intake which is a short ram setup with a box. So I made the front driverside fog light cover functional by putting a vent on it. I was going to run some piping into the mishimoto airbox to make it a cold air feed, but I ended up ordering the 27won intake. I'm most likely going to run the piping to that intake instead in the next little while but here it is.

The cover is off a civic sport hatch which has the radar mounted.

I window welded the oem mount for winter use and the 27won mount for summer use :)

Accord endlinks and type r rear sway bar. For the daily driver this is an amazing upgrade using all oem parts!
**Note** need to get the type r rear sway bar brackets aswell as the bushings are bigger than the Si. It is a direct bolt in upgrade.

@Thusee Did you notice any performance increase with the Mishimoto intake or just noise increase? Haven't seen many reviews of the Mishi one. Tons of PRL folks here lol
Just noise. I never dynoed car before and after. Now I have 27won. Its quieter but a lot nicer and cleaner in bay.

This one is a short update on hood shocks and how it should be installed. Majority of the time I see them installed incorrectly and it just doesn't look good in my opinion.

How I see it most of the time with the black bracket on the bracket over the headlight....

The correct way should be like this with the bracket at the back hinge and the ball end at the bracket over the headlight and it looks a whole lot cleaner.

Yes that's right Haha. From my interaction with them and seeing how they get the community involved got me to respect them quite a bit. I'm all for hearing people out and helping wherever I can and they have been quite similar to my values/qualities.

Of course there are other products that will make more power but it's not always about that. My car I'm doing a mild build and 27won's products are meeting my goals so I have no intentions of mismatching items.

And yes cant wait to get that intercooler!!!

Time to get into more serious Mods - WARNING: PICTURE DUMP

DC5R + S2000 Stoptech rotors + Nissan 350z Brembo Pads

After doing some spirited driving one day i noticed a lot of brake fade/lack of braking when i was going home and decided it was time for an upgrade. Looked into a few options and decided I wanted to stick to Honda Parts since I can get them at employee pricing....found a used set of DC5R Brembo's in slightly rough shape so sent it out to get powder coated and rebuilt with new hardware. In the meantime ordered a set of S2000 Stoptech Slotted rotors and had a set of Nissan 350z pads.

This setup is a DIRECT BOLT ON even using the factory brake line! However; a stainless brainded line would be much more beneficial.

Get all excited and start putting it all together.....my new wheels do not clear the BBK if you look closely you can see how close the caliper is to the hat of the rotor so a concave rim will not work if it curves too soon. However I did test fit my friends EVO BBS wheels 18x8.5+38 i believe was the offset and they cleared no problem. Unfortunately my wheel setup wouldn't clear even with a 10mm spacer and at that point it was poking way too much for my liking. But since I already bought my wheels I decided to look into actual big brake kits and went with the 27WON setup.

27WON BBK INSTALLED

27WON had a template available on their website to see if our wheels would clear so I had tested it prior to ordering and all was good! Ordered up the kit, installed it, bled it, followed their procedure to break it in, and it is AMAZING! It does squeal on light application but slight pressure and it goes away - this is expected with BBK's. I also feel the Rotor and Caliper fit the wheel GAP much nicer than the DC5R setup!

The last picture is with @CanadiaegeanBlue with his Genesis Brembo setup with my 27Won setup in the background.
