That’s full retail plus 13% provincial sales tax here in Ontario. I can’t imagine anyone other than an insurance claim buying them.
Insurance claims in Alberta is cheap, they rather repair than approving a rim replacement.

I'm guessing you gotta LOVE your Civic to death and have deep pockets to drop 8.6k on OE rims

Is there another similar variant with Type R LE rims in terms of size, style and forged type?

The BBS on front page was the closest I can find. Maybe others can chime in

The specs of the regular Type R rims are : part #: 42700-TGH-A92 - OE FK8 wheels 20x8.5 ET60, 29 lbs weight, right ?
The problem with the BBS CI-R rims is the offset, wich maxim for 20 inch is 45.
More than that, I don’t see if it’s a forged rim or not. Maybe it is, but it is not writed on the rim like on the BBS LE one.

The hole circle of the regular Type R rims is 5x 120 ?
Thanks.

Hello everyone,

I really like the BBS rims that come with the 2021 type r Limited Edition. I figure it will be difficult obtaining these as LE owners will keep it stock. What are your thoughts on BBS Ci-R black/red Nurburgring edition wheels? Wheels look similar, but not exactly the same. Is it too similar with the OEM rims (non-LE)? Anyone with this set-up? Some pics below:

Ive seen LE wheels go for 1100-1400 per wheel. It’ll be cool if a non LE rocked them, but they’re out of my price range. I’m eyeing the superspeed wheels though

To answer your questions:

1) I'm guessing all LE owners will keep them consider a) it's BBS Forged b) it's pricey af
2) Is it similar? Looks yes. Spec wise, no. It's BBS Forged compared to Hitachi (looking into 20 OE rims)
3) Worth it? If you can find a steal deal, do it. It's $8600 CAD a set ($5500USD more or less) and currently on back order
Any part numbers for bbs LE wheels?
