How do you like them? Im building my hatch sport, looking for performance and thinking of going 17x9 for lighter weight at the 9" width, but also don't want an ugly looking hatch. Pics are very welcome

So we've got a Hatch in our fitment gallery running some 17x9 +42 with some 235 45 r17's and this is what its looking like! I can't speak for how he likes it, but it sure doesn't look to bad!

A 205/50r17 is a crazy stretch on a 9" wheel.

I run Enkei TS-V 17x9 +40 with 255/40 for comparison with eibach pro kit. I'd definitely recommend 255/40 on a 17x9.

That's a good point I completely looked over, That's a typo on our end. Real specs are 235 45 r17s!

Thanks for sharing! I didn't see 17 inch setup mentioned in Gels Fitment Industries Garage video about 10th gen setup but probably I somehow missed it.

I prefer Autocross inspired fitment & setup when I do wheels & tires mod. I would keep stock tires dimension as much as possible so the I could go with 8 at the most with 215/50.

Which offset do you recommend if I want to go 17 inch with 8 inch width for flush or nearly flush setup without spacer?

So to keep it as flush as possible I would say around the +35 - +30 Range should get you close! Since you are specifically looking at 215 tires the closer to +30 the better!

I'm running Spoon Sport CR93 17x9.5 +38 all around with 245/45/17 tires. The fitment is perfect with a drop that is no more than 1.5". I'm running Tein Stech Springs and its honestly in my opinion perfect fitment.

Love my 17", i dont think i can go back to 18"s.
ran a super rare set of works 17x8+35 with a 235/45 tire. the car felt nimble and planted and looked great. this year I might run 17x9 if my local deal goes through.

Planning to get a 17" set from FI as well , I like the meaty tire look with slight poke/flush look ..On stock suspension .

will 17 x 8 + 35 offset achieve this? if so what tires size would you recommend, with no rub etc .

thank you

Mike
