I’m thinking about selling my 2017 PMM civic si sedan with just under 40,000 miles. What would be a good asking price for the car? It’s bone stock

Think long and hard...

I still regret selling my 2015 Subaru WRX STi Launch Edition... ‘‘twas such a beautiful car and almost a flawless package for the the price and it’s great sportiness and functionality with an amazing resale value compared to other cars!

Always ask a few grand more than you want or it’s worth. You never know it might be just the car someone is looking for.

Also check Carvana or Carmax so you have a bottom number to help in your negotiations. Sometimes they actually give more than you would expect.

good luck with sale:thumbsup:

Check with listings of what they are selling in your area. You can also see what Carvana would pay for your car, and if you sell it privately, you can probably get $1 or $2K more if you sell privately

I will sell if I get more than what I owe.. But really I don't see anything else I'd rather have in the price point.

Take it to a car dealer and you will really see who sucks. Carvana actually gives much more than dealers, being a venture capital funded startup, they are trying to build their inventory and become the Amazon/Uber of online car sales

I did. The toyota dealer near me offered 17,500 when i was looking at a new corolla hatchback. Hyundai offered 17k like carvana when i was looking at the veloster N that they had on their lot.

OK, that's good to know. I know earlier this year they were offering crazy money on cars. One of the members sold their 2018 for $21K...he bought it originally for $23K and some change. BTW, did you get the drive the Veloster N? If so, how is it? I want to drive one to see what the hype is

honestly, i loved the N. it was so smooth and that acceleration tho.. really pushes you head back in your seat. i drove the 1 with the performance package with 275 hp and it spanked the si the way it pulled (what i expected). the handling felt pretty similar. but that bitch was 31k!

and i still love the look of my coupe more tho.

If you ever decide to buy one, wait about 1 or 2 years and pick up a used on. Don't buy new. I don't want to buy one, but I do want to drive one

$21,189 today on Carvana
That's a pretty good price, probably because you have a 2019. They offered me $19K for my 2018. I ended up selling privately for $19,800

Aggressively expanding market share by overpaying for used cars (in some areas). Probably hoping for a buyout as Amazon is also starting to sell cars online. It’s game over once Amazon figures it out.
