These rims from 08 civic for winter tires

These were on my last car... Instead of buying black steelies AND winter tires, i figure save money...
THey are 17 inch as opposed to 16...:

Also, the 2 other pics have 3 differemt off sets... I see one of them matches my Coupe.. 4x114.3

Would they fit my car...? what size tire for this rim....?

Well they are wider than my stock rims and they are 1 inch bigger and I think they look pretty damn nice for it being winter with snow tires !

When you say centering ring that you mean the plastic peuce that goes in the middle of the rim before you put the tire on the car ? I only have them for the front not for the rear.

I am using Lugnuts from the rims and another set of Lugnuts I bought because I lost some original pieces.

Tire size exact same was on for summer tires. 215/45 R17

I did call tire rack to make sure they would fit they were just afraid of Wheel rubbing which I have no issues with

Had them aligned and the rear camber driver side is off -2.5° and I am going for a road trip in two days to the Rocky Mountains... but that is for another thread

I mean the ring that makes the wheel fit exactly on the hub flange (that is, unless these wheels have a 64.15 mm centerbore to match the Civic's hubs). Get them for all four corners. If Tire Rack won't sell them individually (and they might not; they prefer to control the whole package themselves for liability's sake), other places have them.

Summer tires for your new Civic? You sure about that? 215/45-17 is smaller (I knew they looked small) and will throw off your speedometer and odometer readings. Yeah, they won't rub, but the OEM tires on this generation of Civic are all taller than they were on prior generations of Civic.

No no, those were the summer tires to my 2008 civic.

My 2008 civic coupe had 16 inch (maybe even 15 inch, not sure, it was a coupe LX) stock rims. Bought tire and wheel package from tirerack together... with those size tires on these rims...except they were summer tires sized 215/45R17

These are more or less low profile winter tires lol. If i went 215/50 or 220/50 the price jump was waaaay too much..

My one worry is driving at highway speeds, in cold (below 35degrees F) but DRY pavement... had tirerack say they WON'T wear any faster than all seasons in summer.

Had Firestone say they are meant for snow and ice and WILL wear faster on dry pavement..cold or not..

Ugh....800+ bucks on snow tires.. hopefully not just for this one trip. Too bad I couldn't bring my stock wheels with me to switch em off if i wanted to drive around Denver for a few days (its around 45-55 degress there... go figure, i'm going to snowboard)
