Tunes used: KTuner basemaps 23psi/factory mainly - thinking about going to TSP Stage 1 (Pros/Cons?)

Your car looks great. The major difference between the KTuner base 23 tune and the TSP Stage 1 is the feel up top. Ktuner's setup feels solid down low but the top end fizzles out. The TSP setup is kind of like this... somewhat soft (but smooth) bottom end, solid mid range, ridiculously fun top end.

I have the TSP (non-Si version) and it's an incredible tune for only $80.

---------------

BTW guys, this survey/database can also be a great place to discuss tuning or tuning issues, so don't hesitate to ask anything and hopefully someone will answer. ;)

Which reminds me. Anyone that has previously added a survey reply is welcome to spice up their post with a couple pics of their ride.

Have you considered a custom e-tune from D-Rob? Maybe an upgraded IC?

I was considering an etune, but I haven't seen anyone post solid numbers from this (for a CVT). TBH I really want my car to be pushing ~230-250 hp but I don't want to put more money into it if it's never going to go anywhere being a CVT and all.

If you get a hold of a tuner I'm sure they can help you with that. They can probably get it so the torque is still within tolerable limits but wont break anything.

I added a new survey area called "Tuning experience notes". Basically, at the end of your tuning survey this is a place to give a short description of your overall experience tuning your Civic.

Please update your survey post by adding your tuning experience notes. Thanks.

As an example, here's what I added to my survey:
This is my first time tuning and I've gone from total tuning novice to now feeling comfortable enough to help others with tuning. I've never had a mod transform a car like tuning has. The main reason I tuned was to reduce the feeling of turbo and CVT lag when quickly going from light to heavy throttle. Tuning's definitely reduced the lag by maybe 90% and gives me a completely different driving experience. My car went from a peppy commuter to a bit of a sleeper beast. Highly recommended.
