"Attention owners of tuned 10th gens. Please add your car here."

That's been my message for almost three years now. Three years of messaging and begging people on the forum to add their cars. Sure we have 1,000 cars added and on paper that looks good. But most of the tuned owners I've messaged haven't added their cars. Imagine if more people here were team players and would help/care about the CivicX community.

I'm grateful for the people who have added their car. And I'm impressed with have a small portion that add update posts from time to time because that's what gives the thread stats actual value.

I know activity at the forum is at an all time low these days. It is what it is. Still, I'm trying my best to keep this thread going.

Let's see how it goes over the next few months as far as whether or not people think this should continue to be an ongoing thread. Or if people who previously have refused to contribute change their mind and help out.

Let's face it, at this point the thread is mostly me showing stats or thanking someone for adding their car here and there or me asking for activity than actual posts where people add their tuned car.

Total tuned time: 5 months

Tuned miles driven: 5,000 miles / 8,000 kms

Tuning device(s) used: Hondata FlashPro

Tunes used: Hondata Basemap for 1-month, custom tuned by DRob once 27WON KURO went on

Fuel used: Petro-Canada 94 (exclusively). Stock fuel system, no ethanol or meth.

Additional related mods: 27WON Kuro Turbocharger upgrade, RV6 Catted DP, 27WON FP and Exhaust, Eventuri Intake, Eventuri Inlet Pipe

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Slightly speedy with aggressive bursts from time to time

Tune experience notes: as with all basemaps, there's a huge torque shove at first then a dead top end. Actually felt the car got slower with a basemap. Once the tuning process began with DRob and the Kuro was installed the car started to come alive. Finished the tuning process 20 days ago, couldn't be happier with the results! Extremely linear all the way to a redline of 7,600RPM, and faster response with the Kuro over a stock turbo

Dyno Runs performed on a Mustang Dyno, which reads 12-15% under the Dynopack and Dynajet that most Honda shops/tuners are using. Correcting by 12% for Dynojet/Dynapack it should be right around 406whp, which is in line with what's to be expected when utilizing a stock-sized MAF, stock injectors, and no upgrades to fueling. With those upgraded, 460whp will be attainable

Stock with only 27WON IC, and 27WON Exhaust

Plenty happy with current power levels and linear delivery :) Near and over 400whp there's only a few seconds you can legally be WOT. The other day I tested at what throttle percentage the car is still enjoyable and at 70% I can still talk to a passenger. At WOT I just have to hold on and concentrate!

Those 4 using motec, were you able to communicate with all other modules/computers including gauge cluster?

Total tuned time: ~Two months

Tuned miles driven: ~2000 miles

Total mileage: ~12,000

Tuning device(s) used: Burger tuning JB4

Tunes used: Map 2 (+4.0 psi, 91-93 octane)

Fuel used: Costco 93 (exclusively)

Additional related mods: None

Problems/issues: None other than bent rims

Driving style: daily driver, rare long trips, pretty heavy on the throttle. No track (yet)
Spirited driving most of the time

Tune experience notes: definitely feel that the extra boost helps acceleration when you step on it, regular driving feels normal. If you plan on Keeping the car stock but want a little more power I definitely recommend the jb4 just not at retail price, got mine for around $300 with Bluetooth kit from someone on the forums here.

Update:

Vehicle: 2021 Civic Sport CVT

Total tuned time: almost a year and five months

Tuned miles driven: about 18k now.

Tuning device(s) used: Ktuner V2

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1/Phearable 1.5, 1.5R/Custom tune

Fuel used: 92 is the highest here

Additional related mods: BMS SRI, BMS intercooler, muffler delete, J's Racing grill.

Problems/issues: MPG dropped by 2 since I like to hear my turbo "pssssshhhhhh". Experiencing wheel hop here and there so I might look into type R rmm and window weld or just weld my OEM rmm

Driving style: Grandma to save gas, for now. Gas is expensive, y'know? I am aggressive when someone in the back tries to cut me off and put them back in their place.

Tuning experience notes: Temps even in hot and humid days was in the 8X-9X on IAT and IAT2 when I installed an open air grill. I can hear the turbo whistle even louder now. Nothing really much to report, just few changes.

Here's how she looks like with the grill on:

Tuning experience notes:

I have done my custom tune and I always work my numbers on the mid and higher ends, but so far so good. I have base mustang and g35's lining up but at least I am keeping up with them.

Total Tuned Mileage: about 400

Tuning Device: Ktuner v2

Tunes used: Ktuner 19.5/21.5, phearable stage 1.5

Additional engine/exhaust Mods: Mishimoto Intercooler, mishimoto cold air intake, HKS BOV, 12in glasspack for exhaust. Stock front, down and resonator pipes and stock MAF housing/sensor

Experience with mods/tunes: a night and day difference, Si's factory aren't putting near the advertised HP so you really need a tuner to bring out all the power, the first mod I recommend is throwing out that stock intercooler and then an intake, the turbo models have a airbox resonator of sort attached at the bottom of the stock airbox so if you want to hear spooling take that bottom box off, overall the phea

Problems/Issues: The only issue I would have is the throttle response for the phearable tune, there was a noticeable difference for the response going from the ktuner built in tunes and phearable, it feels stock so its alright.

Driving style: I like to drive casually for a while and then start doing pulls.

Thanks for adding your car. Me personally, not a fan of BOVs. Just saying. ;)

So on the KTuner base tunes versus Phearable throttle response. I know what you're saying but here's the difference.

With KTuner most if not all of the response seems like it's in like the first 60% of pedal travel so it seems lively ... almost twitchy. But then it fizzles out. With the Phearable, it's much smoother and more linear. And where the KTuner maps #drop_off_a_cliff up top, the Phearable tunes top end is oh so much better.
