I just ordered mine. What settings did you have for throttle response and sensitivity?
Does the CARB version offer any rev match or rev hang. Thanks for your input!
Carb version doesn’t remove rev hang since it’s an emissions thing. You need ktuner or the flashpro race version for that.

Update 11.5 ?

Tuned Miles Driven: 12,000 (42,000 total).

Tunes Used: Ktuner Stage 0; Phearable 1.5R.

Fuel Used: 93 octane until my next fill-up, swapping down to 87/89? Read Experience Notes.

Related Mods: K&N drop-in air Filter; Mishimoto Induction Hose.

Problems/Issues: Zero.

Experience Notes: Gas prices have spiked drastically here, with the places I stopped at going from $3.40 a gallon for 93 to almost $4 a gallon (one gas station was $4.29 for 87, which is over $1.20 more than most places), so I'm going back down to 87 octane for a bit until those prices settle. In my spare time I'd like to try and tweak this Stage 0 base-map to optimize for what I can get. I know 87 is NOT good performance fuel, but I would like to see what might be tweaked to get the best of it. Hopefully this change will not be for long as the Phearable 1.5R tune is amazing. Can easily get mid-to-upper 30s mpg on my work commute in Map 1 or 2, but then be able to pass people (or take them to Gapplebee's) whenever necessary. Stage 0 is a HUGE downgrade, but it is what it is. Won't be forever.

Question, should I even bother with 89 Octane? I have the options of 87, 89, 92, and 93 octane here. 87 is $3.00 or $3 and pennies, 89 is $3.30 or so, and 93 bounces between $3.60 and $4.00. Is there enough difference between 87 and 89 to justify 89, or should I just save the $0.30 and go with 87 until prices lower again?
Update 12

Tuned Miles Driven: 13,400 (43,400 total).

Tunes Used: Phearable 1.5R; Previous: Ktuner Dual 21psi (6-700 miles), Ktuner Stage 1 (4-500 miles), Ktuner Stage 0 (200 miles).

Fuel Used: Back to 92/93 octane + 1.5gal e85. Previous: 89 octane.

Related Mods: K&N drop-in air filter; Mishimoto induction hose.

Problems/Issues: Zero.

Experience Notes: With the addition of 3 new gas stations in my area recently, gas prices have settled back down to $3.50-3.79 for 93 octane. I've decided to go back to 93 and Phearable 1.5R as none of the tunes I tried, or any combination of fuel, really seemed to itch the fix like the 1.5R could. To reiterate what's already been said: Stage 0 tune adds a little bit of torque and helps fix the laggy turbo, throttle, CVT response the cars have stock. Stage 1 adds a bit of power, is an upgrade over Stage 0. Dual 21PSI tune can be a lot of fun depending on how you have it setup. I had mine setup with Map 1 being as close to stock as possible, Map 2 being peppier and running at 16.5psi with only minimal enhancements to throttle and turbo spool, with Map 3 being the all out racing tune. Even the 21psi tune with all quick adjustments maxed out (within reason for CVT) doesn't compare to the power that the Phearable 1.5R provides. Lots of power down low and very confidence-inspiring for city driving, but for highway / interstate pulls or MPH hunting, it loses most of its grunt past 4k RPM.

On a side-note, had yet another flat this last week. Nail in the road. Hole was so big, I was flat before my TPMS light ever came on, and by that point it was too late. Tire had sidewall damage, and would bubble out badly when you tried to air it up. Got my replacement for free, but rather disappointed regardless.

Hey guys. We are 80 tuned cars away from the magic 1,000 mark. And I see more and more people talking about tuning in other threads all the time.

Unfortunately, most of them haven't added their car here.

If you're reading this and you're tuned, your car should be in the thread. Each car, eaching tuning experience and every tuning issue noted helps the community.

This is a bit unusual. I messaged a guy and requested that he add his car to the thread. Well, he added his entry in the message itself by mistake, so I'm posting it here for him:

Roz4y

Vehicle:
2019 Civic Sport CVT

Total tuned time: 1yr 1/2

Tuned miles driven: 18,000 miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTUNER

Tunes used: 2.0L base tune

Fuel used: 93 octane

Additional related mods: AEM intake. Rv6 Downpipe

Problems/issues: CEL two codes P0420

Driving style: Moderate pulls on Highway

Tune experience notes: Definitely more pep and unlocks the potential to the 2.0 N/A. Just wish there was more to do Kuz it’s really a beast over the 1.5

gtman side notes: Can't say I agree that the 2.0NA is "beast" over the 1.5 turbo. And there are disables in the software for the the downpipe related error codes.

Vehicle: 2017 EX Hatch 1.5T CVT

Total tuned time: 4 months

Tuned miles driven: 1,500+

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: KTuner 1.5T CVT Basemap; Stage0

Fuel used: 87 Octane

Additional related mods: 27Won CAI, 27Won Turbo Inlet Pipe, 27Won Intercooler + tubes, Magnaflow Street Series Catback Exhaust

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Mostly easy city driving, some pulls when space allows.

Tune experience notes: I immediately felt an improvement after tuning with just the basemap provided by KTuner, although I know it can be so much better. There is still usually quite a bit of lag when putting my foot down and aside from it being a nuisance, it makes me feel less confident when in situations like needing to cross over busy streets quickly. I don't know if I should try the "Stage 1" tune yet or go with something like Phearable, or if I should be using a different gas or not. To be honest I still know very little when it comes to tuning.

Looking at your setup, no way you should be running 87 octane. Exactly which basemap are you running?

I was going to say the same thing earlier but didn’t want anyone to get offended since that’s the norm on here now apparently.

Sorry, the tune info I gave probably wasn't right, but I am using the Stage0 tune for CVTs. Did 10 seconds of reading and I figure I should probably bump it up to the Stage1 tune and be using at least 91 octane gas, am I right?
