Vehicle: 2019 Civic Si Coupe

Total tuned time: 1 year

Tuned miles driven: 30,000+

Tuning device(s) used: Hondata

Tunes used: was tuned on basemap I guess 19/21psi for a few most of the time but been on custom tune for the last 3 months

Fuel used: 91 only for now soon flex fuel

Additional related mods: prl street cai
27won turbo inlet
Plm 3” catless dp
Greddy SP catback

Problems/issues: None still original brake pads/shocks, struts and original first clutch

Driving style: mostly cruising, my daily commute about 70 miles round trip is through canyon roads and I get into boost almost every time except during the winter times I’m mostly cruising for my good mpg’s still!

Tune experience notes: best thing to do to this car if you really want to make the most of your bolt on mods and have the car running tip top!

5 Revisions

Tuned miles driven:
About 100

Tuning device(s) used:
Hondata Flashpro

Tunes used:
Hondata 91 Octane W/ Improved Throttle.
Phearable Custome Tune for Colorado high altitude, 91 octane, and intake.

Fuel used:
91 octane (Colorado)

Additional related mods:
PRL Intake with Street MAF. MAPerfomance exhaust with stock front pipe and stock downpipe.

Problems/issues:
AF and fuel trims spiking from lean and rich back and fourth under WOT. (Problem is not with Phearable Tune as the problem was existing during Hondata only tune as well.

Driving style:
Mixed. From normal driving to aggressive/spirited driving.

Tune experience notes:
Dyno'd 361WHP with Phearable's tune in Colorado high altitude. But due to something being wrong my AF numbers all over the place, we backed the boost down which has smoothed out the AF problem but now making less power 335WHP. Search for the cause of oscillation when boost turned back up continues. Local performance shop feels my stock downpipe and stock front pipe is causing a restriction and thus the problem. Downpipe and front pipe ordered.

Total tuned time: ~ 2 years

Tuned miles driven: 25,000

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1

Fuel used: 93oct Top-Tier Detergent fuel only (Mobil and Costco exclusively)

Additional engine mods: PRL Street Cobra CAI

Problems/issues: No issues

Driving style: Usually around 70-80 on the highway with the occasional spirited run 100-120mph+. Never floor it off the line.

Tuning experience notes: I never tweaked the maps that I use on TSP stage 1. I just ran what they gave me on map 3. After a spirited run I’ve watched my knock control climb to .7-.8. Overall though I would never go back to driving on the factory tune.
