When you set boost by gear in a tune with multiple maps, the boost limits apply universally to all maps.

Keep in mind that you don't have to set limits in all gears. Many people just set BBG in the lower gears.

Vehicle: 2020 Civic Si Sedan

Total tuned time: 1 week

Tuned miles driven: 500

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: KTuner Dual Starter 23 at first, now on Phearable Stage 1.5

Fuel used: Costco 93 (lowest K.Con values out of the three), Bucky's 93+, BP 93

Additional related mods: Coming soon: PRL CAI Street and PRL FMIC+CP

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Nobody passes me. Balls to the wall as soon as ECT is 170+

Tuning experience notes:
Total tuned time: 7 months

Tuned miles driven: 10,000

Problems/issues: head gasket issues. coolant accompanying misfires in cylinders 1 & 2. not sure if lifted head (fatigued head studs?), blown head gasket, or a combo of the two. also not sure how much longer i can allow the car to run like that.
i'll have to resurface the head and get some arp head studs as i replace the head gasket. also new comp 22lb clutch going in very soon.

Does that apply itself for all 3 maps on TSP or is it just for one? Seems like smart idea to do instead of rolling into my pulls.
I believe itā€™s for all maps. I also, though, have a ā€˜Right-Foot Boost Controllerā€™. ?

Floor it. If you hear VTEC crossover at 5600rpm, youā€™re tuned
Thanks ....I noticed the difference with throttle response actually and wow feels way better lol...doesn't feel like lag as you guys put it ..... I've been at this all day due to a shitty laptop but all is well....I will be adding my car here before I ask another question but I just got off graveyard shift ready to sleep... Thanks for the reply

Went to my first ever track for some open laps on stock wheels and tires.
Instead of TSP1 I use daily,
I used Hondata's 93 Oct tune and I fueled with Petro Canada 94 (contains up to 10% ethanol)
The car would give misfire when I fueled 91 but it runs perfectly fine with 94 (duh)

Time wasn't good. But I still has a blast.
Ran a total of 20+laps and a total of 3 to 4 sessions of 20mins each.
Highest temp: (hondata)
ECT 221
ECT2 196
IAT 120
IAT2 140
Highest MAP: 18 psi
After leaving the last session I pulled to the side and some white smoke came out, because I didn't do the cool down laps.
Got scared to shit and drove in the parking lot for 10 mins and then parked. All good after.

Been a few days now and I have not observed any unusual things from the car. (or maybe I am just too oblivious to notice any)

I looked at the datalog and you were consistently missing your commanded boost targets. Sometimes by a little but mostly by 5 psi+. I don't know if that's a boost leak or if you are at very high elevation maybe.

Your short term fuel trims were wildly inconsistent. Now of course they are meant to fluctuate. But yours were crazy. In one 30 second sequence you went from +42 to -16. Super lean most of the time but overly rich here and there. That's throughout the log... mostly very lean, then quite rich. And yet by the end of the drive your LTFT were at a fine -1. What intake do you run?

new odo 158200km
total tuned milege 8200km
since last oil change 2000km

change since last update:
installed 27won race maf cai
removed pswdjdm intake

difference: they sound very similar but i can hear a bit more turbo in 277won.

tune ots hondata 91
fuel costco 91/ petro canada 94

issues: none

observation:
did one datalogs. the ltft is better than before. seems like there's still difference between bp and bp cmd. So intake should not be the cause?

attached datalog.

Real quick question before I look at the log. Have you checked off the Hondata setting that adjusts MAF scaling for the 27Won w/race MAF (in the modifications section)?

Things still seems a bit odd with the STFTs. They're supposed to fluctate but yours go from very lean (+30) to very rich (-30) at times. And you still aren't hitting your boost targets. Part of it could be environmental but you are missing them by quite a bit.

Try contacting Hondata directly and see what they think. Maybe look for loose couplers.
