Vehicle: 2020 Civic Sport Hatchback

Total tuned time: 14 months

Tuned miles driven: As of 9/19/2021. 15,000
+ ~13k = TSP ~ 2k = Phearable

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: KTuner Dual Starter 21 w/aggressive quick adjustments; customized TSP Stage 1; currently using Phearable's 1.5R tune

Fuel used: chevron 91 (california blend) 90% of the time, other 10% shell/76.

Additional related mods:
Boomba pcv catch can
Boomba ccv catch can (removed for PRL inlet, will attempt to reinstall )
Acuity fully adjustable shifter
Acuity solid shifter cable bushings
PRL FMIC
PRL charge pipes
PRL cobra air intake
PRL titanium turbo inlet kit
27WON 70a cast rear motor mount (will be swapped with the hasport 68a)
Invidia 70mm front pipe
Invidia R400 70mm exhaust
Ktuner v2
TSP tune (now Phearable)
Phearable tune
Fkx racing hex mesh grill

Problems/issues: I didn't like the way the arbitrary knock adj was killing power, so I switched to phearable

Driving style: mostly conservative around town, but will usually do several wot pulls up to the speed limit every time I drive. I do go pretty hard in the canyons when its clear/safe semi regularly. I pretty religiously baby the car when its cold, the car sees lots of idle time also.

Vehicle: 2019 Honda Civic Si Sedan

Total tuned time: 1.7 Days

Tuned miles driven: 84

Tuning device(s) used: Ktuner v1.2

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1+ Street MAF

Fuel used: Shell 93 (exclusively)

Additional related mods: PRL Stage 1 Intake, Borla S Type Exhaust

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Slightly speedy with aggressive bursts from time to time.

Tuning experience notes: This is my first tune and I immediately notice a difference in the butt dyno, I definitely feel as if the driving experience has changed, the car feels more responsive and has this urge to just go, it is no slouch. Went from 31.7 to 31.8 MPGs in almost 2 days :( However, once I get it out of my system the numbers will balance out.

Update:

Vehicle: 2020 Civic Si 1.5L 6MT

Total tuned time: 10 months

Total tuned mileage: About 6000 miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1.2

Tunes used: Phearable 1.5 primarily but used base Ktuner tune and TSP 1 for a few weeks after flashing my car back to stock for a dealer service visit.

Fuel used: Costco or Smith's 91 octane, sometimes add a splash of E85.

Additional engine mods: PRL Silicon Intake hose, AEM Dry Flow air filter

Problems/issues: Started it up one early morning after working all night and the knock control immediately jumped to 0.80 (while idling!!). After that is when I started adding 1 gallon or less of E85, haven't done this every fillup though. Other than that, no issues. Clutch seems fine.

Driving style: Toned down after the first month, only really gun it on highway on-ramps.

Tuning experience notes: First time tuning, I prefer the Phearable tune to the base tune and TSP Stage 1. The drivability is much improved, and the performance is impressive. I don't use Map 3 very much, as Map 1 and Map 2 are sufficient for me and also because we don't have 93 octane here.

*UPDATE*

Vehicle: 2019 Civic SI

Total tuned time: 2 years

Total tuned mileage: 40000+ miles

Tuning device(s) used: Ktuner

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1 (30k miles) , now TSP Stage1+ (current)

Additional engine mods: 27Won CAI, PRL Catted Downpipe, 27won Frontpipe, ACT street clutch, 27Won Intercooler

Fuel: 93

Problems/issues:

*NEW* - After some hit and miss leaking from my intercooler install, a failing MSD coil pack, and some really bad gas (apparently) I did have some issues with hesitation and fuel trims, as far as seeing vapor from my exhaust even after a 45 min commute (this was the "bad gas"), she is back in working order. Only issue remaining is a faulty second o2 sensor that always reads 0 volts which is an aftermarket o2 from Walker, If you ever need to replace any o2 just go OEM, do not go aftermarket.

Other than waiting for a another o2 sensor, I had a compression test done at 40k miles, Cyl1&2 200 and Cyl3&4 : 205, the engine holds well even while being tuned from early in on its life and mishaps along the way.

Driving style: After adding more mods and changing the tune up I wouldn't say I beat on the car but I don't baby it either.

Still always in map 3

Update: Switched from Hondata Carb to Ktuner V2 with Phearable OTS tune

Vehicle: 2017 Civic LX Hatchback

Total tuned time: 4 years

Tuned miles driven: 30,000+

Tuning device(s) used: Hondata CARB Flashpro (4 years ) ; currently using KTuner V2 ( 1 week )

Tunes used: Previous - Hondata +6 Carb with custom tweaking by MakSpeed. Current - Phearable Non-Si Stage 1.5 street tune w/27Won intake option

Fuel used: Costco 91 octane

Additional related mods: 27Won CAI hybrid, Prodrager cat back exhaust

Problems/issues: None ( mechanical or tune related )
* minor issues - ( for me ) There is a learning curve when it came to installing and running the KTuner. The Flashpro Carb software was intuitive for a novice, easy to install, and easy to use Bluetooth gauge display and having the cable to the flashpro module routed in a unobtrusive manner. The Ktuner software is a bit more complicated to figure out, and finding a place for the V2 module is a challenge to have a clean looking installation without exposed cable.

Driving style: current - Daily Driver with 80% going for part throttle economy (42.5 mpg average summer blend, 40mpg winter blend) remaining 20% off road & canyon carving

Misc Comments: Was pretty happy with the Flashpro Carb tune as a daily driver, biggest drawback was only 1 tune can be used at any given time. Was intrigued by the Phearable / KTuner's ability to "switch on the fly" change of tunes.
