Great milestone.

More people should contribute!
I second that. It's surprising (kinda depressing) how many tuned folks I ask to join the thread who turn me down.

Thanks JR. And thanks for all you've done to create some great products and tunes for our cars.

I’m selling my Ktuner, for non si. I’ve been driving it for a whole year almost. Never had any problems, now that I’m getting ride of my hb without the tune it’s been pretty bad. The car doesn’t wanna go and turbo spoons fast and then looses it( according to the boost gauge built in) fuel efficiency wise it’s been good. Even on the tune in summer I can get 38-40mpg combined. I drive like a grandma sometimes in city miles. I made it to Traverse city Michigan in one full tank. I avg 41-42mpg. I don’t drive in eco and I did the dual tune. Car feels like poo without the tune. Feels so good with it. I’m driving stock now before Carvana picks up my car. If you got any questions about the tune do ask!

Any chance of you officially adding your car to thread using the survey format in the first post?

Give me some time. I’m on mobile, it’s kinda hard.

Total tuned time: 1 year.

Tuned miles driven: 20k

Tuning device(s) used:
KTuner 1.5L Turbo Non-SI

Tunes used: Stage 2 Dual Tune

Fuel used: 93 Octane

Additional related mods: None completely stock.

Problems/issues:
No issues at all for me

Driving style: Daily Driver City + Highway

Tuning experience notes:
Tuning is easy, just drive your car around after you've done it and the errors will go away. I'd 100% say the tune makes the car way better. Right now Driving on stock before Carvana comes and takes it away. It doesn't want to go even in sport mode and regular. With the tune the turbo spools faster and you can actually speed up and pass people when needed. Simple breeze. Like in my post above it's a really good tune and in my year of driving it was 100% worth it and made the car more fun.

I have a question/suggestion.
what about measuring cylinder compression ratio before tuning and after 20,000 miles and see how does it effect it.

*Was at 400 miles when I first posted the miles tuned. *

Tuning Device Used:
K-Tuner V2.

*Driving style*
2-3 WOT on friday/saturdays, week days very now. (Every sunday, a group of cars and I go driving on some back roads in the tripple digets for about 30 miles)

*Experience gained*
*04/16/2021* Phearable Stage 1.5 (non race) runs like crap with catless downpipe. No knock issue... car just doesn't push hard like it did... started noticing people I'd normally pull on start leaving me behind. Not satisfied with the solutions John Vega gave me, he tried, no lie, but he said eveythings fine. Well, tell me why TSP is all the sudden eating my buddies alive vs phearable? Idk
.. I think im running way richer than he can see. Its odd for my afr to read 11 flat at wot with phearable... 11.5 with tsp..

Tunes & Settings Used:
*Update 04/16/2021*(Changed tunes to TSP Stage 1+) mixing e85 nearly every tank

*Update 01/27/2021* (changed tuned to PHEARABLE after Johnvega retuned my car) car for the most part stays pegged at .49 kcon using 93 only. (I mix 1ish-gal E90/E85 now. Tested every time)

Fuel Used:
EXXON-93 Only (Added E90/E85 tested) never any knock count issues, loud back fire with rev hang off?.

Additional Engine Mods:
03/31/2021 *Added* RV6 CATLESS DOWNPIPE/FRONTPIPE also added 27WON STREET MOUNT (70A)
*Removed/added* 01/17/2021 Invidia Gemini exhaust and had custom exhaust made for the car from front pipe back. No res or mufflers.

*MODIFIED* 09/27/2020*UNPLUGGED the artificial engine noise module
*ADDED* 07/17/2020 {27WON COLD AIR INTAKE} *INSTALL DATE - 07/17/2020

That's odd. First I've heard anyone dealing with that situation. Maybe post about that in the 1.5R thread and see if anyone else experienced something similar?

https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/phearable-1-5-r.60425/

Thanks for the update.

Well, it wasnt with the R version. Its just the regular stage 1.5... the car I first noticed was a Sonata 2.0t with a stage 2 or 3 tune. I was able to hold neck to neck, who ever got the jump was always in lead... all the way up to tripple digits and then he'd finally take me... now even if I get the jump, he reels me in quickly with phearable. Its likely just the downpipe, also, maybe now that im catless, I may not need the ethonal... it could be the issue causing such a rich mixes(honestly don't think that's the issue either) anywho, tsp 1+ will be my go to for now, not exactly sure why it says aftermarket clutch recommeded, its only 5wtq more than the regular phearable stage 1.5 so why would that be a problem? Lol.

I really appreciate the update to your original post (Nov. 2019). Glad to see things are holding up so well as you've put on some serious tuned mileage.

Hopefully we can get more early posters in the thread adding updates. The additional tuned miles and updated reliability info is so important and helps keep things more accurate.

Thanks again.

Vehicle: 2017 Civic 1.5T CVT EX-L sedan

Total tuned time: 3 months

Tuned miles driven: 4000 + kms

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: KTuner Stage 1 18 psi with / without aggressive adjustments, Dual Starter 21 with / without aggressive quick adjustments; currently using Stage 2 21 psi base map.

Fuel used: PSO 97 HOBC

Additional related mods: / REV9 intercooler, K & N Drop in air filter. 15mm Wheel Spacers with Stock 17" Wheels.

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Smooth most of the time with slightly speedy & aggressive bursts occasionally.

Tuning experience notes: This is my first time tuning just to spice up the stock 1.5T keeping reliability of the motor under check along with better response . The main reason I tuned was to reduce the feeling of turbo and CVT lag when quickly going from light to heavy throttle. Tuning has definitely reduced the lag by maybe 90% and gives me a completely different driving experience. My car went from a peppy commuter to a bit of a sleeper beast. Recently used VSA disable (dampening) feature with which a further better response felt.
