Total tuned time: 18 months

Total tuned mileage: 23,250

Tuning device(s) used: Hondata 5,800 miles to 13,500 miles; KTuner v1.2 13,500 miles to 29,000 miles (present)

Tunes used: Hondata +6 (boost limited to 21psi); TSP Stage 1 (only tune I've run on KTuner, currently 15k miles on TSP stage 1)

Fuel used: 93 Octane, usually Costco and BP, but I've used Exxon and Shell from time to time. Always Top Tier, always 93.

Additional engine mods: PRL Cobra CAI; PRL catted DP and FP combo (version 1)

Problems/issues: Overboost condition code (when Hondata first introduced rev hang delete and didn't say you needed to disable whatever code that is); one other electrical system code (can't remember it now), that I am pretty sure was related to failing battery. Hasn't returned since the battery was replaced.

Driving style: Slightly speedy with aggressive bursts from time to time. I have tended to keep boost near to stock levels. When I was on Hondata I limited boost to 21 psi, on TSP Stage 1 I rarely if ever engage sport mode so basically run it as a 19.5 tune.

I am testing a 2015 1.8L engine in a RV6A kitplane. A lot of people who do not fly will find this really weird, but it is quite common now days with people who build and fly kitplanes.

Vehicle: 2015 1.8L

Total tuned time: About a year

Total tuned mileage: About 40 hours.

Tuning device(s) used: SDS EFI EM4. Excellent for offf road vehicle, but it does not use many OEM sensors so not good for highway use.

Tunes used: Custom map.

Fuel used: 93 pump.

Additional engine mods: T3/T3 turbo, aftermarket, intercooler, and tested Meth/water injection. PLX O2.

Problems/issues: Had to set up VTEC on a RPM switch on SDS ECU. I bring it on at 3000 rpm. I did have a problem, but it was my own fault, when I ran it too lean and scorched two pistons. I was not watching my AFR. I now have the PLX O2 WB and an intercooler - much better IAT!. I am only boosting 7-8 lbs and keep my AFR near 12:1.

Driving style: N/A
