Yeah, no problem. Going from the bare bones Flashpro CARB to the Ktuner V2 is like going from a Honda Fit to a Ferrari. :)

Besides all the bells and whistles of the V2, what will shock you is how the unit itself is built like a tank.
Awesome! That's quite the improvement! That explains why most people on the forum switched to ktuner. Yeah I'm pumped about all the real-time sensor readings on the screen! I'm glad to hear it's durable so I don't have to worry about it

A lot of them are using the V1 or v1.2 versions. I went V2 because a laptop isn't ever needed for anything. Overall, I think most here with non-Type R Civics switched because there are many more user friendly abilities over what Hondata offers. For me, the killer feature is on the fly map switching.

Vehicle: 2018 Civic Si

Total tuned time: 2 months

Total tuned mileage: 3,000 miles

Tuning device(s) used: Ktuner v2

Tunes used: TSP stage 1

Fuel used: Costco 91 with the occasional $10 full up at a 76 or rotten Robbie

Additional engine mods: PRL street cold air intake

Problems/issues: None so far

Driving style: On normal days I'll be granny shifting at 2k-2.5k rpm for fuel economy. I'll send it 2-3 times a day but not to redline. On Fridays/Saturdays, I do have a spirited driving/hooning habit.

Great question.

It would be best to add a new post here noting only what has changed. For example, tuned mileage. That way, I can easily update the survey stats. And certainly add a post if you run into any issues.

Yeah, user-friendly features are hard to beat. The less I need my laptop, the better! Where did you decide to mount the V2 on your dash?

I don't. I only keep it in the OBDII port after uoloading a new tune to check parameters and plug it in from time to time to check fuel trims and such. Just my preference.

The thread has been cleaned up. The OP request that all reports are from the party that owns the vehicle in question (not second hand information), and that they use the proper formatting he has provided. I agree that sticking to this method benefits all of us.

Well, this is a good place to post this. I've now been tuned for two years. First with the +6 Flashpro tune, then my homemade "+7.5" Flashpro tune, various renditions of the KTuner 21 and now a slightly customized version of the TSP Stage 1 for non-Si. And all I can say is WOW.

The Civic is a well engineered car out of the box and all the Civic engines offer a nice balance of performance and economy right out of the box. But, let's face it, Honda dials 'em back for ultimate reliability, understandably. Our available base and off the shelf tunes are outstanding and take what is good day to day performance and kicks it up a notch. All that added fun while doing a great job maintaining mpgs and reliability overall.

Tuning has it's potential mechanical and warranty risks but in the grand scheme, odds are, maintained properly and driven sensibly, tuning is a win-win.

Model: 2019 Si Coupe
Mileage: 10,000 (~8000 tuned)
Owned: ~1 year, 11months tuned
Parts: KTuner, 27WON Intake, PRL Intercooler and charge pipes, Torque VTA BOV plate (I've got logs, come at me bro haha), AWE Track Edition Exhaust, BeamTech fanless LED bulbs, TypeRLEDs flashing brake LEDs.

Tunes: KTuner 21 briefly, mainly TSP Stage 1, almost always on Map 3

Fuel used: Shell V-Power 93 90% of the time, Raceway 93 occasionally if travelling.

Driving Style: Daily driver, short trips to hour drives depending. I do race and abuse it a few times a month, no-lift shifting, two-step launches, higher RPM cruising, etc.

Tuning experience: The tune has totally woken this car up, and it's super peppy and responsive. Advanced VSA and throttle response are amazing and are night and day.

Problems: None. Car runs a little rich for my liking (11-11.5 in WOT conditions, this is the tune since it's targeting those AFRs).

Not an issue per se, but I've had issues with rocks catching in the heat shield on the brakes, and caught a rock in a fog light which I replaced, covered in Lamin-X film.

Vehicle: 2020 - Civic SI Coupe

Total tuned time: 5 months

Total tuned mileage: 11,000+ miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: KTuner 91/23 & TSP Stage 1

Fuel used: Sunoco/BP/Exxon 93

Additional engine mods: None

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Pretty Heavy foot on open road. but normally just very chill and relax shifting at 2800-3k.

Tuning experience notes: Coming from a much faster car (almost 400 AWHP/TQ) I wasn't too thrilled with the SI. I bought the car for the MPG and I wasn't expecting much more. After I loaded the Ktuner base map I was very happy with the results, but after the TSP stage 1 tune I am more then happy with the power this little light weight car puts out. I think this will be enough for me as a daily driver.
