Great build man! I personally like the ocean shimmer, but as a Tonic Yellow Pearl owner my color choices are on question lol

I would rock the tonic yellow! But this was one of only 2 coupes within 300 miles of me so I settled for it.

Well in the meantime of me waiting to get the wrap done, I went ahead and whipped out my dual action polisher and went to town.

Two stage polish/Decontamination.

First hit the whole car with Iron Fallout remover, (This removes rail dust/and iron composites built up on the paint. Notice the purple in the first picture this is a chemical reaction removing iron/decontaminates) rinse & repeat twice.
Clay bar next along with a fallout mixture as well. Then it was time to whip out the old Rupes and get the first passes done with a medium cut compound, then on to a Finishing polish. I considered ceramic coating at the time of this but wrap company’s don’t advise it so I’ll save that for later! But here ls a few pics of the finished product.

Had a Cabin up in Townsend Tennessee last weekend, got to take the car on some nice scenery. Hit the Foothills parkway, and some nice backroads through Townsend. Car feels really well through the twistys besides the body roll. Next up on the list will be some bigger sway bars, strut tower bars and brake upgrades. The factory brakes are ok for occasional spirited driving but after two passes on the parkway the brake fade and hot rotors were showing themselves bad. Here is a couple pics, last time I will probably post her being a WOP coupe. Wrap appointment is creeping up quickly!

It is not set in stone yet but it is in between satin ocean shimmer and gloss atomic teal. Which are both pictured in the thread somewhere

The ol Civic has had a good week of changes!
First I hit up my guys to finally get some tint laid down, I went with 15/35 and glad to not be in a fishbowl anymore!

Next up was some audio upgrades, much needed from the cheap speakers they use from the Factory in these cars. I went with Rockford Fosgate all around for the mids An highs. Which I am still disappointed in the sound although it was a nice upgrade I will be adding a 4 channel amp to boost the audio and be able to tune to my likings.

After all that I remembered I had my Switchback side markers in the trunk an decided to go ahead and toss them in as well. The wrap got delayed a few weeks as my wrapper has had some things come up.

AZ are going to be doing my wrap, they are good buddies of mine. The tint I went to my friends at Finish touch detailing.

I have not installed the DP/FP yet as I have only got my fabricator to get the DP done. I have to find some down time in the shop to let my car sit on a rack for a couple days to fabricate the FP along with checking clearance with the DP we fabricated. And the Intercooler is a Agency Power, I had a PRL on order that was suppose to ship with there last batch and it did not, so I decided to go with agency. it is VERY comparable if not identical to PRL’s. I have not put the car back on the Dyno yet after the Intake/Intercooler install but my IAT’s are a lot better andthe heat soak is non existent anymore. I will have gains posted in the next week or so hopefully.

Well had some things come up and had to push the wrap a little farther back than anticipated. (Adulting sucks)

got a little free time at work an decided to go ahead and do a muffler delete.

I went with a 2.5 Inlet to dual 3.5 tips in place of the hdmi port. This was a quick 30-45 minute job and I will be doing a full stainless exhaust soon.... just waiting on getting the DP/FP finished up an installed. oh ya, added some Lumin-X yellow film on my fogs for a little different look.

Been slacking on posting here!

couple small new things in the last couple weeks. Finally got my Caruse Design Aeroflap in,the simplicity but design of this thing is awesome and I love the look. Instal was as simple as some alcohol prep, then slide On biggest challenge was keeping it from sticking until it was flush with spoiler.

Also decided to change the shift boot and shift collar. Went with the SS acuity collar, and a Red Alcantara boot. Anyways, here’s a couple pics!
