You can almost read the people's lips in the ad. They're saying "Can you believe AMC actually mass produced this piece of shit?"

I went to high school with a fella that had one of those; a gift from his grandfather.
He was embarrassed to drive it until we swapped in a 350, and suddenly it was the fastest fugly car in the school parking lot.
He surprised a lot of Camaros with that car.
